So worth it to persevere
29.10.2021

Our fertility journey has been long ... Natural trials from 2013 to 2015, diagnosis of PCOS in 2015, taking Metformin during 2016, miscarriage in 2017, failures in insemination during 2018 in the public system, etc. But thanks to the clinique ovo, we finally had our little miracle, the beautiful Margo, born on August 30, 2021. We started an IVF treatment at the clinique ovo with Dr Beauchamp at the end of 2019. In addition of PCOS, high DNA fragmentation was found. In 2020, we had a first frozen transfer that did not work, but the 2nd transfer tested positive on Boxing Day! All the staff were wonderful. Do not lose hope. So worth it to persevere.

We would not give up
30.03.2021

My partner and I have been together for 11 years and are 30 and 35 years old. We started our monitoring at ovo in 2019 after a year of trying to conceive naturally. After several tests, it turned out that we had unexplained infertility. It was frustrating not being able to conceive naturally. To this day I still have a hard time accepting this infertility. We tried 5 inseminations without success. We were hopeful each time and when my test was negative, it was disheartening. We turned to IVF. We had 18 follicles harvested at the time of the egg retrieval and from this harvest, we had 7 frozen embryos. Despite all our hopes, I was very stressed and sad. I wondered if it was going to work, if we were ever going to be parents, and I was completely floored when I heard of other women or friends getting pregnant when we were having so much trouble. Against all odds, my first frozen embryo transfer worked. I am pregnant with a beautiful boy and we are so happy. I have learned not to give up, that despite my despair and anxiety, life can find its way. Good luck to all of you and keep hoping and persevering despite the storm of infertility!

I chose to take a chance
15.02.2021

June 27, 2020 will remain engraved in our memory.

September 2015, we are ready, we tell ourselves we want to be parents! But the months without results add up. After 2-3 fertility appointments I quickly learned that I could not get pregnant because of my ovarian insufficiency. So I slowly started to mourn the loss of motherhood while keeping a little hope that one day, a miracle would happen.

So I decided to get a second opinion with clinique ovo. Dr. Coralie Beauchamp talked to me about the possibility of an egg donation. This was my last option so I thanked God and chose to take the chance. It was the best decision of my life. After my first embryo transfer, I was pregnant!! Unbelievable!

Now I am a mom, her name is Emma. She arrived in the hands of her father, we were all very moved. After her first cry, Emma put her hand in her mouth, already ready to drink, that's when I knew that everything was going to be fine.

Thank you ovo! See you soon for a little brother or sister for Emma.
