Dr. Artak Tadevosyan is the Scientific Director and Head of Medical Laboratories at Clinique OVO. He also serves as the Director of the Biochemistry Laboratory at Clinique Procrea Québec. A certified clinical biochemist, he holds a specialist certificate from the province of Quebec and is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. He leads one of the largest reference laboratories for prenatal screening in the province, as well as the only private cord blood stem cell bank.

Before joining OVO, he earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from the Université de Montréal and the Montreal Heart Institute, followed by a residency in clinical biochemistry at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM).

Dr. Tadevosyan has authored over 30 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has received multiple awards for his contributions. He is also an auditor for medical laboratory accreditation programs (ISO15189) and an intership supervisor at the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montréal. His main research interests include biomarkers for prenatal screening, therapeutic drug monitoring, and quality indicators in clinical laboratories.
