Dr. Artak Tadevosyan is the scientific director and head of the medical laboratory (ovo labo) and the family cord blood bank (ovo biosurance). He is a certified clinical biochemist with a specialization from the province of Québec and a fellow of the Académie canadienne de biochimie clinique.

Before joining ovo fertility inc., he earned a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Ph.D. from Université de Montréal/Montreal Heart Institute; he then completed his residency in clinical biochemistry at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM). Dr. Tadevosyan has published more than 25 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and is the recipient of several awards. He is also an auditor for medical laboratory accreditation programs (ISO15189/ISO22870) and a rotation supervisor in the pharmacology and physiology department of Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine. His research interests include biomarkers for prenatal screening, pharmacogenetics, therapeutic drug monitoring, and clinical laboratory quality indicators.
