Dr. Catherine Adam is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Université de Montréal. She obtained her certification in internal medicine (endocrinology and metabolism) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2014. She then pursued her training in high-risk pregnancy and reproductive endocrinology at the National Women’s Health Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand.
She is currently an endocrinologist at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont and an associate clinical professor at Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine. She is head of the reproductive endocrinology clinic and of the endocrinology component of the high-risk pregnancy clinic.
Her primary research interests include improving care for pregnant patients with gestational or pre‑existing diabetes and improving the management of populations at risk for preconception obstetrical complications.
