Coming from three generations of gynecologists, Dr. Roland Antaki completed his doctorate in medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Aleppo (Syria), then completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Sherbrooke. He subsequently completed a subspecialization in Gynecological Endocrinology of Reproduction and Infertility (EGRI) at the Université de Montréal and was one of the first to obtain the certificate of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in this subspecialty.
Dr. Antaki is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Université de Montréal. He is the director of the fellowship program in EGRI and co-director of the medicine course 'Endocrinology and Reproduction' at the Université de Montréal. He is head of the reproductive medicine and biology department in the obstetrics and gynecology department of the CHUM .
Dr. Antaki is a member of the Reproductive Endocrinology Clinical Guidelines Committee of the Canadian Society of Obstetics and Gynecology and has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Quebec (AOGQ).
